Pamela Gordon – (Chair)
Pamela Gordon was Chief Executive of two local authorities and has held a number of public appointments. She has chaired and been a member of various boards and committees. For three years she chaired the national board of Relationships Scotland and continues to chair Relationships Scotland Borders. She is President of the Melrose Literary Society and is herself a writer, having published two historical thrillers and with a third in preparation.

Gordon Downie
Gordon has lived and worked as an Environmental Health Officer in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. He has a lifelong love of theatre – both professional and amateur. His organisational skills have been used in the past by a number of social groups and projects including: folk clubs, walking groups, a wine tasting circle and village committees. He has extensive knowledge of food and catering and licensing regulations.

Carol Norris
Carol has worked as a consultant physician in the Scottish Borders for over 20 years, obtaining an MBE for her work. She has loved theatre all her life, is a member of Equity and is currently training to become a professional actor. Carol is also involved in several other artistic disciplines in the region: exhibiting her art and writing as a co-editor of The Eildon Tree (a local magazine for new writing). She is very keen to develop collaboration between various art forms.

Alison Jane Myburgh
Jane is known in theatrical circles under her Equity name of Jane Houston Green. In that capacity she has worked for 30 years as an actor, writer and theatre director, having started her career as a dancer and choreographer. She also has extensive skills as a drama tutor. Her work has taken her all over the world – to America, Russia, Southern Africa and a number of European countries. In addition, she has numerous credits in film and television.
As Jane Houston Green, she is the Artistic Director of Treading The Borders.
