Treading The Borders

…great writing performed by professional actors in interesting venues

The Scottish Borders is teeming with creative talent that requires nurturing.

It is the long term aim of Treading The Borders to provide a variety of workshops to create relationships with these creatives interested in writing and live theatre  and to inspire budding local writers to help create new works as and when funding allows.

Towards Flodden – The Script, which is being performed around the Scottish Borders this September is such a project which started with writers workshops with David Napthine, an actor and writer who’s work for BBC Radio Drama includes Ecce Homo, A Suit of Lights, Act of Faith, Unforgettable, The Recall Man (a series of four plays) and The Glasgow Climbing Club.
