Treading The Borders

…great writing performed by professional actors in interesting venues

About

While some of the plays that Treading The Borders perform may be written by internationally recognised writers, the Company is also working hard to create relationships with local writers to inspire new work for the stage in a process that is enduring and supportive. With a policy of inclusion and accessibility, we are developing connections with schools and other community groups, as well as taking theatre to places of historic interest and venues that provide new experiences for an evening of entertainment.

There is a wealth of talent in the area, some stunning buildings in beautiful locations, dynamic and vibrant communities… these are all points of reference that Treading The Borders wishes to celebrate. Treading The Borders is about great writing performed by professional actors in interesting venues: to nurture local writers, to inspire audiences and artists, to challenge ideas, to educate and collaborate.

Treading The Borders appreciates the widespread support and encouragement that it has received, before and since its formation, and would like to thank everyone for their interest and participation.
